Barcelona won their second trophy in a week, taking the European Super Cup 1-0 in extra time over Shaktar Donetsk of Ukraine. The match, played annually at the Stade Louis II in Monaco, pits the defending Champions League and UEFA Cup winners. It is the first time Barça have won it.
