FC Tokyo win J. League Cup

FC TokyoFC Tokyo won the J. League Cup final 2-0 over Kawasaki Frontale. Yonemoto and Hirayama were the goal scorers for the Tokyo club. This marks FC Tokyo's second J. League Cup title, their first coming in 2004. Kawasaki Frontale meanwhile are third time unlucky, this being their third (unsuccessful) appearance in the league cup final. They may have a happy ending to this season though, sitting in first place in the league standings with just four matches to go.
