Footie Fox

Footie FoxI wanted to share with everyone a fantastic little add-on I recently discovered for Firefox. It's called Footie Fox and displays live scores of matches from dozens and dozens of league and tournaments around the world - from the English Premier League to the Azerbaijan League and everything in between. Incidentally the league in Azerbaijan is called the Yuksak-Liga. Which makes my day and something I'd never have known with Footie Fox.

Anyway, great stuff. It sits at the bottom of your Firefox window and will show whatever leagues you select it to show. It can rotate among all the games in action and show the scores. If you select you'll get a pop-up that will choose all your leagues plus all the relevant matches. You can also click on a link to the current league table for whatever league you're looking at. Most exciting of all, whenever a goal is scored a little window pops up telling you what's happened along with a customizable gooooooooooooooool sound. Truly awesome.

It's quite possible things like this have been floating around for ages and like an idiot I've just not known about it. Very possible! But whatever the case I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Seriously I remember roughly ten years ago La Gazzetta dello Sport had a little app like this that I really enjoyed. Predictably as soon as I discovered it they promptly shut it down.

How this things works...I do not know. It's affiliated with German football magazine Kicker so maybe they're being supplied live scores from the Kicker network. Whatever the case is I'm happy about it!

If anyone else has some great add-ons they like please let us know.

Hi Galwayan - are you trying to install it with Firefox? It will only work with that browser. If you have Firefox open and click on download it should launch the installation process without a problem.

If you're still having problems let me know and we can investigate.
