Kashima Antlers win the J.League title

Kashima Antlers won the 2009 J.League title, winning their final match 1-0 at Urawa Reds to hold off 2nd place Kawasaki Frontale. Frontale had led the title race before faltering in the the late stages.

This is the third consecutive J. League title for the Antlers and their seventh overall.
