Description:
Founded on August 18, 1902. Liebherr is the club's main sponsor. Liebenau is a district of Graz. Traditionally supported by the upper class of Graz, as opposed to the working class fan base of arch-rivals Sturm. The stadium was previously known as the Arnold Schwarzenegger Stadium, named for the Graz native. Because of questions raised by local politicians opposed to Schwarzenegger's refusal to intervene in the 2005 execution of Tookie Williams, Schwarzenegger withdrew his name from use by the stadium.
