Cape Town Spurs and Seven Stars merged in 1999 to create Ajax Cape Town. Ajax Cape Town took over the franchise of Seven Stars. The franchise of Cape Town Spurs became Mother City.The club is 51%-owned by Ajax of Amsterdam. Cape Town Spurs, founded in 1969, won one title and one cup.

ARDIL

Hi guys.
I have been an Ajax CT fan since inception. I have been to the games and watched on television. It seemed only obvious that since I am an Ajax Amsterdam supporter since the days of Johann Cruyff that I should support the sister team. My biggest dream would be to see Ajax CT lift the PSL trophy. I would also like to take my son to watch a game but unfortunately it is not safe.

Good luck for the new campaign and bring the cup home.
