Royal is an honorary title given by the Belgian royal family to every club in Belgium after twenty-five years of existence. The stadium is named after a former player and club president. It is also called Parc Astrid, for its location next to said park. Were initially in the shadow of the early giants of Brussels football, such as Racing and Daring.
