Description:

Founded on May 27, 1908 at the Concordia café in southwest Brussels. Anderlecht is a suburb of Brussels. Royal is an honorary title given by the Belgian royal family to every club in Belgium after twenty-five years of existence. The stadium is named after a former player and club president. It is also called Parc Astrid, for its location next to said park. Were initially in the shadow of the early giants of Brussels football, such as Racing and Daring. Since the second world war have become the most successful Belgian club, both domestically and in Europe, with two Cup Winners' Cups and one UEFA Cup title to their name. Matricule# 35.
