Description:
De Graafschap means 'Count's Territory' in Dutch. The club's nickname is the Super Farmers, which was also the name of the field they originally played on. They are based in the small town of Doetinchem in the rural eastern part of Holland known as De Achterhoek. Merged with VV Oosseld in 1955. The stadium name means (The Pond Hill) which was the name of a hotel on the land where the stadium was built.
