Description:

Founded in 1893 by the merger of Our Boys and East End. The Dees are traditionally being supported by the Protestant section of town while Dundee United have Catholic roots. Despite these divergent backgrounds there's no serious sectarian edge in the rivalry. Reached the European Cup semifinals in 1963, going out to eventual winners Milan.

The stadium is located on Dens Road in Dundee. It is located within a few hundred yards of Dundee United's Tannadice Park. Previous Stadiums: Carolina Port (1893-99).

There is absolutley no sectarian edge to the rivalry between Dundee and United.We just don't like them and vice-versa,bit of a joke to have that as part of your main description.
