Albion Road Columnists

Bill's Sports MapsBill Turianski

Sports map specialist Bill Turianski contributes an article to Albion Road roughly once a month, bringing us one of the huge collection he's built on his own website Bill's Sports Maps. These range from league and country attendance maps, to maps about a specific competition (like the Champions League or Football Conference) to spotlights on individual teams. And he's got much more coverage (and more than just soccer) on his own site. When not putting together these detailed maps Bill supports Portsmouth. Insane.

Chris T. KetchamChris T. Ketcham

Chris Ketcham has been playing and watching soccer in Washington DC since 1980. It was on his first soccer team the kernel of uniform aesthetics obsession was planted (when his team got the ugly brown shirts instead of the cooler colors). Along with football he is also very into indiepop music and the electric guitars (in equally cool colors) that play the music. Aside from soccer, guitars and occasionally being a worthy fiancee, Chris spends the rest of the time spacing out.

football-previews.co.ukLee Price

Lee Price is the editor of www.football-previews.co.uk, who provide us with our weekly Premier League round-up, and writes a monthly column for us on the English top-flight. A fan of 'moral football' but, conversely, the 'mavericks' of the game, Lee is enthusiastic and passionate about the sport. Moreover, for those of you who will read his work, he doesn't always subscribe to the universal view of the media that is commonly spoonfed to its audience.

Michael S. Hund

Michael S. Hund covers DC United, the US national team and American soccer in general on his blog The Fullback Files. He contributes a monthly roundup on American soccer and we are very happy to have him as a part of Albion Road!

Scott T. Shepherd

A resident of Washington, D.C., Scott T. Shepherd began his career as a reporter, working for newspapers and magazines in New York, Florida, Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. His career included two stints as a sports reporter, covering a variety of sports on all levels. He provides occasional contributions to Albion Road, focusing on game coverage and historical perspectives. A relative newcomer to football obsession, Scott is a D.C. United supporter and works at the University of Maryland, home to the Terrapins, the national college men’s soccer champions.

Tom Hall

Tom Hall covers Scottish football for Albion Road when he's not working on The Scottish Football Blog, his blog which covers (you guessed it!) Scottish football.

Wyn GrantWyn Grant

Based in the UK Wyn Grant covers the business of football for Albion Road, contributing a monthly roundup of the biggest items in the news. Wyn manages a couple of websites of his own, including The Political Economy of Football and the Addick's Championship Diary about Charlton Athletic. Wyn occasionally appears on Sky Sports News and Radio 5 and is a regular contributor to Radio Scilly's friday evening sports show. Poor Wyn is a lifelong Addicks supporter, a rough job in recent years.
