Details:The Country: Россия Official Website: rfs.ru Description:Russia, as we all know, spent a large part of the 20th century as part of the Soviet Union. The 1960 European Championship was by the Soviet Union, which Russia was of course a member of. The old pre-Soviet Russian football federation was founded (and joined FIFA) in 1912. During the 1930s a Soviet football federation was started which took the place of the first Russian federation. With the breakup of the Soviet Union a new Russian football federation was created, joining FIFA in 1992. Despite the massive popularity of the game, Russian football has consistently underachieved. The recent influx of cash into the game could be starting to change this. The 2005 UEFA Cup triumph by CSKA Moscow was the first European title for a Russian club. Russian Football Clubs Map:

You need change 1912 with 1992. USSR was FIFA member from 1912, not Russia! If you leave it that way, than you need to add ALL former Soviet countries to the list and put them as the members of FIFA since 1912.
Wrong information!
Football association founded in 1912 and then joined FIFA. In 1992 it was just renamed. Despite Russia the other CIS and Baltics countries start their history only in 1992 and foundedtheir footbal association in and after 1992.
