Description:

For a relatively small country, Sweden have a proud record in the World Cup, reaching the final as hosts in 1958 as well as the semifinals in 1994. The top-level Swedish league is called the Allsvenskan = The All Swedish. The league is traditionally dominated by the Big Three - AIK, IFK and Malmö - though all three have been relegated or flirted with it in recent years.
