Description: Formed in 1945 by the merger of Ticha and Vladislav, the two largest Varna clubs of the era. Ticha was named for the Kamchia river (formerly Ticha), which runs through Varna. Vladislav was named for the 15th century Polish king Vladislav III, who died at the Battle of Varna. The initial name was TV-45 (for Ticha, Vladislav and the foundation date). Merges with Primorets in 1947 to become TVP. In 1969, merged with Akademik Varna to become Cherno more Varna. Vladislav Varna won three Bulgarian championships and Ticha won one. The Moriatsite (Sea Men) nickname is a reference to Varna's seaside location.
