Description:

Cracovia is the Latin name for the city of Krakow. Klub Sportowy Cracovia are the oldest football club in Poland and winners of the first Polish championship. They were one of the early leaders of the game in the country, winner five titles in the first half of the twentieth century. The second half of the twentieth century was much bleaker for Cracovia, spending most of those years in the second or third (or even fourth) division before the financial support of software firm Comarch came into play. Cracovia have turned in several respectable performances in the last few seasons of the Ekstraklasa.

The nickname Pasy means The Stripes, a reference to their red and white vertically striped shirts. The official name Klub Sportowy Cracovia means Cracovia Sports Club.
