There is absolutley no sectarian edge to the rivalry between Dundee and United.We just don't like them and vice-versa,bit of a joke to have that as part of your main description.

I use to go to dens from school at lunchtime when the 1962/63 were there i meet john prentiice bill and bob shankley at the smi-final of the cup when dundee played st-johnstone at tannadice the happiest days of my long life. but now ifeel bad at what has happened to my club but as they say once a dee always a dee.

Please remove the line "The Dees are traditionally being supported by the Protestant section of town"; it simply isn't true. Dundee Hibernian (now United) were formed by Catholics, but Dundee FC was an amalgamation of two local junior sides and has no religious connection.
Protestants and Catholics taking sides is a matter restricted to Rangers and Celtic, and it is hurtful to have this ascribed to the other teams in Scotland.
