Description:

FC Kaliakra Kavarna, named for the Kaliakra cape near the eastern Bulgarian seaside town of Kavarana, made their Bulgarian First Division debut in 2010 after many years in lower-division football. In addition to finally reaching the top tier of Bulgarian football they have 2 appearances in the Bulgarian Cup semifinals to their name. The current club traces its existence back to 1940 though a club of the same name was actually founded in 1922.

Stadion Kaliakra:

The Stadion Kaliakra (Kaliakra Stadium) was built in 1967 and is located in the southern half of the town in the midst of a larger sports complex of the same name.
