Description:
Kuban is a region of southern Russia along the banks of the Kuban River. Krasnodar is the principal city of the region. Founded in 1928 by the local militia/interior ministry. The club was taken over by an oil company in 1954 and renamed Neftyanik (which means Oiler in Russian).
