Description:

Novara Calcio were founded in 1908 under the name Football Association Studenti Novara. The Biancoazzuri made their debut in the top league of Italian football during the 1936-37 season and in 2011-12 will return to Serie A for the first time in over 50 years.

Stadio Silvio Piola:

The Stadio Silvio Piola (Silvio Piola Stadium) opened in 1976 without a formal name. It was known informally by the street on which it was located. It was officially named the Stadio Silvio Piola in 1997 after the legendary Novara (and Italy) striker.
