Description:

The name translates as Association of Sportsmen in Iraklio. From the island of Crete. The shield on the OFI badge is shaped like that of ancient Ulysses who fought in the Trojan wars. The colors symbolize white for justice and black for courage in local folklore.

Stadio Theodoros Vardinoyiannis

Previous stadium - Theodoros Vardinoyiannis (-2004), Pankritio Stadio (2004-). For several years OFI Crete shared the Pankritio Stadio with Ergotelis. Pankritio means Pan-Cretan, in other words the stadium for all of Crete. They have since returned to the Theodoros Vardinoyiannis. The Theodoros Vardinoyianis stadium goes by the nickname "Gent Koule".
