Description: The original name translates as First Workers' Football Club of Vienna. The club was renamed the following year, after the early German club Rapide Berlin. The stadium is named for a legendary former Rapid player, and also carries the nickname "Sankt Hanappi" (St. Hanappi) - because for the fans, Rapid is a religion. The Hütteldorfer nickname is a reference to the club being based in the Hütteldorf district of Vienna. One interesting and enduring tradition of the Rapid fans is the "Rapidviertelstunde" - a rythmic clapping that is launched fifteen minutes before the end of every match to spur the players on. Previous stadiums - Rudolfsheim, Pfarrweise.
