Description: Founded on April 10, 1913 as a merger of Botev (1909) and Razvitie (1910). Originally based in the 'Russian Monument' neighborhood of Sofia. Now based in the Ovcha Kupel neighborhood in the southwest of Sofia. Named in honor of the Czech club Slavia Prague, and to celebrate the 'Slavianstvoto' (Slavicness) of Bulgarians. Merged with Bulgaria and Bezhanets in 1945. ZhSK-Slavia was a brief merger with Lokomotiv Sofia. Reached the European Cup Winners' Cup semifinal in 1967, their best-ever finish in Europe.
