The stadium is typically called Sclessin after the town in which it is located, a suburb of Liège. It is officially named for a former club president, who served in that role for 22 years. Rouche is the local (Liégeois) pronunciation of the French rouge (red). Reached the European Cup Winners Cup final in 1982, their best achievement in Europe to date. Matricule #16.
