Description:
Proletarskaya kuznitsa = Proletarian Forge. Taken over by the AMO automotive plant in 1930 and the resultant name change. The plant changed its name to ZIS and then ZIL and the plant remained involved with the club for many years. The club was finally sold in the mid-1990s to the Luzhniki corporation and moved to the Luzhniki stadium. Won 3 Soviet titles and 6 Soviet Cups.
