Description: Formed by the merger of Idmangucu and Idmanocagi, who had previously had an intense rivalry. Bordeaux is a reference to their team color. Looks like claret to me. Trabzonspor are the only club outside the Big Three to win the Turkish championship, having won it six times in a nine year period in the seventies and eighties. Easily the "fourth" club of the country. The stadium is named for Hüseyin Avni Aker, a teacher and regional administrator for education in the 1940s.
