Description:

The Bulgarian B Group - West is one of two second-tier leagues in Bulgarian football. The 14 teams play each other twice (home and away) for a total of 26 games. The champion is automatically promoted. The 2nd placed team goes into a promotion playoff with the 2nd placed team from the other B Group. The bottom 2 clubs are relegated to the third-tier V Group. The season runs from August to June with a three month winter break.
