Official Website: bundesliga.at Description:The Erste Liga (First League) is the second-tier league in Austrian football. The 10 teams play each other four times (two home and two away) for a total of 36 games. The champions are promoted to the Bundesliga. The bottom club is automatically relegated while the 9th club goes into a playoff with one of the third-tier Regionalliga champions. The season runs from July to May with a two month winter break.
