Description:

The Oberliga Baden- Württemberg is one of 12 fifth-tier leagues in the German football system. Baden- Württemberg is a state in southwest Germany, its largest city being Stuttgart. The 18 clubs play each other twice, home and away, for a total of 34 games. The champion are promoted to to the 4th-tier Regionalliga Süd. The bottom three clubs are relegated to to one of the 6th level Verbandsliga of Nordbaden, Südbaden or Württemberg. The season runs from August to May with a one month winter break.
