Official Website: psl.co.za Description:The league is officially known as the ABSA Premier Soccer League, after the title sponsor ABSA, a large South African bank. It was founded in 1996 as the culmination of a series of mergers and rival leagues that fill South Africa's football history. It is a direct successor to the NSL (previously NPSL) founded in 1971. Many thanks.
Neil.
I took a look at the schedule and unfortunately for you it looks like the season in South Africa is ending early, likely due to the World Cup. It normally follows the European calendar but according to the fixture list on the official website - http://www.psl.co.za/fixtures.asp?id=794 - everything is wrapping up at the end of February.
Might be some end-of-season playoffs or some cup finals though. If I find out more I'll let you know.
