Description:
The Regionalliga Mitte (Central Regional League) is one of the three leagues at the third level of Austrian football, along with the Regionalliga Ost and the Regionalliga West. The 16 teams play each other twice (home and away) for a total of 30 games. The champions are promoted to the Erste Liga. The bottom 3 clubs are relegated to the fourth-tier Landesliga. The season runs from August to May with a three month winter break.
