After the formation of the breakaway Premier League in 1992 the name was changed to the Football League Third Division. It was renamed again before the 2004-05 season to Football League Two. Whatever the name it is the fourth and lowest tier of full-time professional football in England, although a growing number of teams (now a majority) in the 5th tier Conference Premier (aka Blue Square Premier) are now full-time.
